Snow and Ice

Well, the ice is finally hitting us. Actually, it sleeted quite a bit last night so I thought we would wake up to a mess. But although the trees were beautiful. the roads were all just wet.

But. as of noon, the sleet is coming down pretty good and I think the temp has hit the freezing mark. My daughter is home and my son is safe at his girlfriend's house. They both have to work tonight so if it keeps this up, I'll be worried. My son may have to call in, he has to cross a mile long bridge. If the roads get bad, that probably won't be a good idea.

All of the area schools are closed so I am home working in my sewing room. If you would like to see what I'm us to, check out my sewing blog.

Take Care and God Bless!

I've weathered a few ice storms in my life. Not fun. Please stay warm!

Beautiful pictures but awful weather to be out in. I saw ice storms years ago when I lived in Michigan...hated them! Now I'm just where it snows most of the season and I can handle that. Snuggle up..
