From Trash to Treasure

We have a local Community Outreach Service program and I supply with unwanted items a couple of times a year. Very seldom do I visit to check out what they have. I have a niece that collects stemware and my sister found her some unusual shaped wine glasses there. So today I ventured out to see if they had any left. They didn't -- but I found this . . .

and this . . .

that will blend in well with this lamp that belonged to Mr. Paramedic's grandmother.

These lamps were only $3 a piece. They were missing parts and didn't have shades on them. It will probably cost more for parts than the lamps cost but I cannot find anything on ebay that comes close to matching that aren't over $85 each. So I still say I got a bargain.

Can't wait to get Mr. Paramedic to see what they need and get the "fixings". This almost makes me excited to take down the Christmas decorations. Almost, but not quite.

Oh, I also got this for $5. It works, but I think I will see if I can fix it to take a lampshade instead of a globe.

Until tomorrow . . .

Take care and God Bless.

Really pretty lamps you found and what great bargains. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

I remember that style of lamps! Funny to see them again. Can't wait to see the *new* that you do!
