Blue Monday & I Better Get Busy!

It's back to work. The weekend flew by and I didn't get everything accomplished I needed wanted to. I didn't even break out the sewing maching. I need to get my work finished during the week so I can participate in Judy Laquidara's (Patchwork Times) Quilt-A-Thon this weekend.

Mr. Paramedic is still waiting for the binding on his Orange Crush quilt and I am looking forward to showing the finished to everyone.

Temperatures this week are supposed to rise from the teens and may even reach 50 degrees. We are all excited.  It has been great sitting in front of the fire in the fireplace and reading all of the great blogs out there. (That is why I haven't finished my work. There's no other excuse.) But now I hope my central heat system will get a break and not need to run 24/7.

This morning I'm participating in Smiling Sally's Blue Monday.

I posted these pictures to Between Naps on a Porch's Tablescape Thursday last week and decided to share some of them again today. To see more pictures of my winter tablescape, visit Tablescape Thursday.

These are the Cobalt Blue dishes I found at a small antique store here in town after Christmas. They were a bargain and I also received 25% off. You can't beat that.

I hope you have a great day.

Until tomorrow . . .

Take care and God Bless.

Mmm, you cannot beat cobalt blue! What a great looking table and for a bargain too. Good job, Vivian. I'll be glad when the cold leaves Florida. Happy Blue Monday.

I've signed up as a follower. Thanks for your visit to my blog and hope you come back soon. I love the deep blue of these dishes and sounds like you got a wonderful deal. Is there anything better than playing with dishes, unless it is decorating in general, or maybe rambling around in the kitchen trying a new recipes...or, well there are so many great things and I try to work in as many as I can. The Grandbabes come first and boy do we have fun!!
