A big thank you to "Between Naps on the Porch" for hosting Met Monday. Be sure to drop by to see great decorating ideas.
Back in March, I showed this chair that needed some attention desperately.
I purchased this toile fabric.
Painted the chair with bronze spray paint.
Added black tacks.
And now, I have this wonderful new chair.
Here is the before . . .
and the after . . .
Take care and God Bless.

Well done...love the toile and buttons...looks so professionally recovered
You chose such a beautiful fabric. I can't even believe it's the same chair. It came out fantastic!

Vivian, I really like the chair. Repainting it makes a perfect accent to the fabric choice.

Oh my goodness. I am loving your transformation. Fantastic job. It is beautiful. I love toile. Getting ready to do some craigs list chairs in either red or black toile...Got to paint them white first. Thanks so much for sharing the metamorphosis of a vintage treasure into a present day beauty!
Enjoyed visiting.
I think your choices for both the frame and upholstery are super. The chair is adorable. Well done! Please stop by and get in on our glass vessel sink giveaway (last day!) if you haven't already. Jane F
Love the chair--toile cannot be beat as a great fabric choice.
